Starting to freak out...

The other night I was dividing up my clothes between what I was taking and what was staying here for storage. Then it really hit me that I am actualy leaveing, and I won't be here for TWO YEARS! Mostly, I knew I wouldn't see Frank, and since I've had him for the last couple of days, it made me really sad. I've also developed some really great friendships over the summer and am sad to leave those people also. My last day at work is coming up next and my replacement has come in for training. Everything is kicking in at once.
On the other hand, the school received my documentation yesterday and it will take 10 days for my issuance number to come through. Then I have to go to the Korean consulate in Vancouver to have the application finalized. That takes another 5 days. Then the school books my ticket and I'm out.

I have a job!

I sent my documentation off to Seoul on Wednesday. I'll be working with kindergarten kids at the LASS Language Institute. The contract is one year and they want me to start on September 3rd. I don't know if my paperwork will be completed by then, but the plan is to leave on August 27.

In the mean time, I feel like there are not enough hours in the day! Between the packing and the socializing there is work. Someone has been hired to replace me so there will be some late nights training coming up. Briana is coming to town in 2 weeks and I'm excited to have her in Vancouver again.

Almost employed...

This will be my communication portal with my North American world for the next while. Thanks for visiting and I will have some more interesting content as the days go by.

So far, I have been sent an offer from one school in Seoul. They have a cute apartment for me and I would start work on September 3rd. I'm holding out for one more offer too, but regardless I will be employed soon!
